MUTEMATH IN THE STUDIO
DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL DATES CONFIRMED
New Orleans-based eclectic-rock quartet MUTEMATH
are currently in the studio recording the follow-up to their 2006 critically-embraced, self-titled debut album, which is expected early next year. Fans can view the band working on new material in the studio at: www.YouTube.com/mutemath.
In the meantime, the band has confirmed three summer dates at this year's Download 2008 Festival to preview some brand new material for fans. Stops include: San Francisco (Shoreline Amphitheatre, July 19th), Los Angeles (Gibson Amphitheatre, July 20th) and Philadelphia (Susquehanna Bank Center, August 2nd).
Over the past 18 months MUTEMATH has amassed a loyal and ever-growing audience of devotees due to their ultra-energetic and genre-defying live performances including incendiary sets at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Warped Tour, V Festival, Voodoo Music Experience, plus various UK and European festivals. TV appearances on Letterman, Conan O'Brien, Craig Ferguson and Jimmy Kimmel Live have left an indelible impact. Their last Kimmel performance made TV history as they became first band ever to perform their single, “Typical,” song completely in reverse; still a You Tube favorite.
Accolades from the press have become commonplace. MTV's "You Hear It First" called their first single, "Typical," Anthemic and Gigantic! While Alternative Press Magazine proclaimed MUTEMATH "The Number One band to see live before die". Now’s your chance:
Sat. July 19 Shoreline Amphitheatre San Francisco, CA
Sun. July 20 Gibson Amphitheatre Los Angeles, CA
Sat. Aug 2 Susquehanna Bank Center Philadelphia, PA
