TAKING BACK SUNDAY WELCOME NEW BAND MEMBER

Taking Back Sunday welcome Matt Fazzi as the newest member of the Taking Back Sunday family. Matt brings his guitar and backing vocals skills to the band. He was formerly in the band Facing New York who had toured with Taking Back Sunday in 2006.

Last December, Taking Back Sunday released their first-ever DVD, "Louder Now: Partone." There's always more to the story. On November 20, 2007, TBS released the companion piece, "Louder Notw: Parttwo." In order to provide Taking Back Sunday fans with a vista into the entire scope of the Louder Now album cycle, the DVDs were split into two different parts. The first edition of the DVD pair was edited Summer 2006, while the second edition picked up after that. It’s the combination of Partone and Partwo that offers viewers the full gamut of the life of Louder Now.

The DVD includes loads of new behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the band, previously unreleased live performances, the European version of the "Twenty-Twenty Surgery" video, the animated sensation “12 Days of Xmas,” and loads of bonus features, including a "Making Of the Video" featurette for their Modern Rock hit "Liar (It Takes One To Know One)." The audio CD contains eight live tracks, including the hit single "MakeDamnSure," which was nominated for this year's MTV2 Viewer's Choice award, "Error: Operator" (written for the soundtrack to the film Fantastic Four), and the B-sides "Sleep" and "Brooklyn (If You See Something, Say Something)."

Enjoy the holidays with Taking Back Sunday's rendition of "12 Days of Xmas," which as received over 820,000 views on YouTube.

Taking Back Sunday today announced that vocalist-guitarist Fred Mascherino has decided to leave the band to pursue a solo career. Mascherino joined Taking Back Sunday in 2003 and appeared on the band’s gold-certified albums Louder Now and Where You Want To Be.

“We are sad to see Fred go,” says vocalist Adam Lazzara, “and we wish him well with his new project. As for Taking Back Sunday, we’re alive and well. We’ve started working on the new album and it feels really good.”
