TEGAN AND SARA RETURN TO THE USA THIS FALL

Critically celebrated songwriting force TEGAN AND SARA have announced dates for a late Summer, early Fall American tour which will kick off in San Diego on Sep. 20, and will culminate with a 4 night stand in Los Angeles Oct. 16-19, in support of their current Vapor/Sire album, THE CON.

Following several months of continuous touring behind sold-out tours of the USA, Canada, UK, Europe, and Australia along with various summer festivals inbetween dates on Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors Tour, Tegan and Sara return to the States before a well-deserved break to contemplate their next album. “The Mighty Quins” continue to enthrall audiences and draw rave reviews wherever/whenever they perform:

In other news, Chicago punk band Alkaline Trio has recorded a version of the Tegan and Sara track “Wake Up Exhausted” (from the album SO JEALOUS), which is available as the B-side of their “Help Me” 7” vinyl single. As previously reported, Tegan has contributed an exclusive original track, “His Love,” as part of the soundtrack to the new audiobook, “A Wolf At The table: A Memoir of My Father,” by acclaimed author Augusten Burroughs. Other contributing artists include Patti Smith, Ingrid Michaelson and Sea Wolf.
