THE ENEMY UK breezed into the US but blasted their way through their first-ever American dates leaving a mighty wake of new fans waiting for more. They did not dissappoint! Tom, Laim & Andy have returned home to Coventry long enough to wash their socks before off again to Japan where they rule! They will begin recording their second LP which they hope to unleash in March and hit our shores again by April. Guitarist/vocalist Tom Clarke told me, "We fucking love it here! The US gets us and we get them! We're coming back soon as we can and spending some serious time here." I for one, cannot wait! Great press to come in the form of features in Spin, Interview, Guitar Player, tons more - reviews everywhere! They LOVE the US can cannot wait to return. Watch this live vers of "Away From Here," from WE'LL LIVE AND DIE IN THESE TOWNS here...

First off, THE CRIBS ARE FUCKING GREAT! Secondly, THE CRIBS are now even greater as ex-Smiths guitarist/songwriter JOHNNY MARR has joined the band and will continue to write, record and tour as the fourth band member which DOES NOT SUCK. They've just finished a spate of UK dates which drew raves (as expected). The good news is they will begin recording again soon. For now, what this clip from the NME Awrds of them covering the Smiths "Panic" w/ Mr. Marr springling some magic jangle into the works. I've heard a few new demos already AND THEY ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! So Dig this shiznit...
