Hot Hot Heat get the crowd going with the new songs ("Harmonicas and Tambourines", "Let Me In") and old favorites ("Talk to Me, Dance With Me," "Bandages") at The Greek theatre last week in Los Angeles. They opened for Snow Patrol (no inserting clever pun about snow and heat---so done already), and are excited about their upcoming new record Happiness LTD out September 11, 2007.

Warner College reps from San Diego (and I went to college in San Diego, so this isn't far from a usual day), do their damndest to promote the 300 soundtrack at Comicon. At a recent concert at the University of Massachusetts, Talib Kweli slammed on the Eurhythmic's "Sweet Dreams (are made of these)" and then appropriately free styled a whole verse over the 80's pop tune, creating a mash-up not even DJ Z-Trip could think of.

Murs has spent the last 10 years carrying his torch in the LA underground hip-hop scene. He now owns his own music festival appropriately titled "PAID DUES" and has now made his way to the cover of Urb Magazine's "American Hip-Hop" issue. This special edition cover will be passed out at Paid Dues and Rock The Bells festivals this summer. Murs is also working on his WBR debut which should be out later this year.

The boys of Evaline are enjoying their second summer on ALL Warped Tour tour dates... gracing the "Ernie Ball Stage." Evaline has been consistently on the road in 2007 playing all dates on this year's "Rockstar Taste of Chaos, " and then North American tour dates as direct support for Placebo.
The band released a 6 song EP "Postpartum Modesty: A Portrait of Skin," on WB last year, and has since been writing songs in secluded places in Nothern California for the LP debut on WB - out sometime next year.
